Otago Settlers Museum Guided Tours

We regard our guiding service as an important extension of the Museum experience and take care to provide informative and entertaining guides who have a personal knowledge and love of the Museum and the wider city environs. The visitor may take part in introductory tours of the Museum, backgrounding the history of Dunedin, or curatorial tours of particular exhibits.

We also provide a 'step-on, step-off' service, where our guide simply joins your group's coach or minibus for the period requested and gives an informative, easy-listening commentary on the sights and history of the city. A perfect introduction to the Dunedin experience. Prior booking is essential for all tours.

Groups may pre-book introductory tours of the Museum, backgrounding the history of Dunedin, or curatorial tours of particular exhibits.
